The guitar is built with rosewood/mahogany back and sides and top are made of hand-selected Engelmann spruce. Yamaha's A.R.E. treatment, which gives the wood the sound of an instrument that has been played for many years, gives the guitar a warm sound with open resonance while maintaining excellent tonal balance.
The neck is designed from the ground up with a focus on making the guitar easy to play.
